EJ

EJ is a tele style instrument… but with a difference. A stunning body in walnut, zebra wood and maple, a maple neck and a versatile TBX wiring harness. With the Tone pot set at the centre détente it behaves like a no-load pot. At this setting the Bridge pickup gives the 'Tele-Twang.' Turning the knob anti clockwise cuts Treble from the signal, turning the knob clockwise cuts bass from the signal, this is coupled with Half Out of Phase switching. The result, a remarkably versatile tonal palette.

The Body:  Two-piece, centre join mature Walnut base with a Zebrawood and rich figured Maple cap. The body has a belly cut and traditional through body stringing with all cavities copper foil lined and a multi coat matt Tru Oil finish. Weight 2.4 kg.

The Neck: One-piece Hard rock maple finished in Tru Oil with an inlaid skunk stripe. The neck is fitted with a Single-action truss rod with a 4mm adjusting nut at the peghead and Tusk nut.

Wiring TBX, featuring a 5-way Oak-Grigsby selector switch, CTS 'A' 250k (Log.) Master Volume, modified CTS 250k TBX Master Tone, and OrangeDrop tone cap's, and the switching is as follows: 

1. Neck through series Cap (10% lees top end than 5)
2. Neck & Bridge half out of phase (Strat quack) 
3. Bridge (Std Tele)
4. Bridge & Neck (Std Tele)
5. Neck (Std Tele)
