Mabel

Mabel is a crazy lady that will bite you if you let her... with a beautiful swamp ash offset body and a maple neck. The versatile TBX wiring harness (a Tedwood favourite) provides myriad opportunities to make a difference. At the centre détente the Tone Pot behaves like a no-load pot. At this setting the Bridge pickup gives the 'Tele-Twang.' Turning the knob anti clockwise cuts Treble from the signal, clockwise cuts bass from the signal, this is coupled with Half Out of Phase switching – the result - a remarkably versatile tonal palette. 

 
The Body: The two-piece, centre join Swamp ash offset body has both arm and belly cut contours with traditional through body stringing finished in multi coat satin Tru Oil All cavities copper foil lined. Wt 2.1 kg.

 
The Neck: One-piece Hard rock maple finished in clear satin Tedwood poly lacquer with an inlaid skunk stripe.  The neck is fitted with a Single-action truss rod with a 4mm adjusting nut at the peghead and Tusk nut.

Wiring TBX, featuring a 5-way Oak-Grigsby selector switch, CTS 250k Master Volume, modified CTS 250k TBX Master Tone/Blend pot and OrangeDrop tone cap's, the switching is as follows:  

1. Neck - thru Series cap. 10% less top end than 5
2. Neck & Bridge – half out of phase producing a Strat like ‘Quack'
3. Bridge - Standard Telecaster 
4. Bridge & Neck - Standard Telecaster
5. Neck - Standard Telecaster
