Ned

Ned employs some of my latest thinking. Combining the aesthetics of a Junior double cut with the playability of a ‘T' type instrument delivering big sustain and rich tones. 

The Body

Carefully selected two-piece, centre join mature Australian Sapele base with a beautifully figured Maple cap. The body is chambered and routed for twin TV Jones pickups, a hard tail bridge encompassing a unique angled through body stringing. The body has all cavities copper foil lined and is finished with a little Black Japan and hand rubbed satin Tru oil. Weight 2.1 kg.

The Neck

One-piece hard Rock Maple, Tusk nut, finished in Tru Oil and an inlaid skunk stripe, a single-action truss rod with adjusting nut at the peghead.

• Width at nut: 1-11/16" 
• Width at 21st fret: 2-3/16" 
• Fret wire: 0.045" high x 0.095" wide, 

Electronics

• Pickups: TV Jones Power’Tron Pickups - Neck: 4.92K Bridge 7.48k. 
• Wiring: 3-way Switchcraft toggle selector switch, single Emerson Pro 500k Volume pot with Treble bleed circuit (150K, 0.25-watt resistor in parallel with 0.001uF OrangeDrop capacitor) and single Emerson Pro 500k Tone pot with Emerson 0.022uF paper in oil capacitor.
